The people of Toronto do not want to see cuts to social services, layoffs, hikes in user fees or privatizations. Across the city, people are coming together to stop the cuts.
Trinity-Spadina (Wards 19 & 20) is a densely-populated downtown community whose residents run the gamut of Toronto’s economic levels and ethnic diversities. They rely on many of the city’s revenue streams in order to maintain its beautiful parks, community centres, services, housing and renowned cultural events.
Our strength comes from, as with all social movements, the people uniting to change society for the better. Together we can win the fight against Ford’s cuts, stop austerity in our own backyard, expand services and build a better Toronto for all.
